Flipkart’s ‘Big Billion Day’ sale kicked off on 6 oct 2014 with promises of big discounts on products across all categories. But the big sale is turning out to be a massively frustrating experience for buyers as the e-commerce site is unable to keep up with the high traffic.
The sale went live at 08:00AM today, and since morning users are complaining of error messages, website crashing, and not being able to pay for their selected products. There are also complaints about buyers clicking on the ‘Buy Now’ button, but the product is not getting added to the shopping carts. Very few have successfully bought what they were looking for, but it has taken them a few tries and some amount of luck.
